My HomeTown Realty
About

John Tenuta, a buy, sell, rent, short sale, and foreclosure specialist came to me in need of a logo for his recently launched real-estate business - My HomeTown Realty. He came to me for a logo, brand guidelines, and later, for a business card design. My goal for this logo was to create something that represented reliability, structure, and also portray a “hometown” quality. Overall I wanted the logo to have a clear and modern feel.

It all started with a phone call with John where he described the company to me and his goals for the brand. I started sketching immediately and made many possible paths for the main structure of the logo. I then picked a few to develop further using tracing paper.
I started digitizing the logos and was able to pair down to a top 3. I selected a font. At this point I sent the top three over to John to see what he was leaning towards.
With the final logo selected, I polished it up and went ahead and created some brand guidelines for him to use moving forward in building his business. I brought a color into the logo that fit the brand goals best.

Once the logo was finalized I put together a sheet to show off different ways the logo can be used as well as the brands color.
Later on John reached out to me again with inquires about some promotional materials that he needed before the big launch.
